Last updated: June 19, 2026
This policy explains, plainly, what data Livetu collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have over it. We handle your data in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018 — LGPD).

01Who we are
Livetu is a platform for discovering experiences — places, events and itineraries — recommended by real people. The party responsible for processing your data (the "controller", in LGPD terms) is LIVETU TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO LTDA, registered under CNPJ 67.689.326/0001-49, based in São Paulo, SP.
Whenever we say "Livetu", "we" or "our" in this policy, we are referring to that responsible party.
02What data we collect
We collect only what's needed to make Livetu work well for you:
Data you provide
- Sign-up: name, username (@), email and password.
- Preferences: the tastes and intentions you choose (categories, type of experience) to personalize your recommendations.
- Content you create: recommendations, lists, reviews, comments, stories, photos and videos you publish.
Data collected automatically
- Location: when you allow it, we use your location to show what's worth it near you. You can turn this off in your device settings at any time.
- Usage and device: information about how you use the app, device type, operating system and technical identifiers, for security and service improvement.
Payment data
When you buy an itinerary or ticket, payment is processed by a specialized partner (such as Stripe). We do not store your full card details — they are handled directly by the payment provider, under its own security standards.
03How we use your data
- Operate your account and let you use Livetu.
- Personalize recommendations based on your tastes and location.
- Process purchases of itineraries and tickets.
- Keep the platform secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Share news and important notices, and respond when you reach out.
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use paid ads to decide what to recommend to you.
04Legal bases
We process your data on the legal grounds set out by the LGPD, according to the purpose:
- Performance of a contract: to provide the service you requested by creating your account.
- Consent: for optional uses, such as accessing your location.
- Legitimate interest: for security, fraud prevention and platform improvement, always respecting your rights.
- Compliance with a legal obligation: when the law requires it.
05Sharing
We share data only with those necessary for Livetu to work, and always in a limited way:
- Infrastructure providers (such as Supabase), which host our servers and database.
- Payment providers (such as Stripe), to process purchases.
- Map services, to show locations on the map.
- Authorities, when required by law or court order.
Some of the content you publish (such as recommendations, lists and public profile) is, by nature, visible to other people on the platform. You control what you publish.
07How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes described here or to meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where the law requires us to keep it for a set period.
08International transfer
Some of our providers (such as infrastructure and payments) may process data on servers outside Brazil. In those cases, we adopt safeguards to ensure your data stays protected in line with the LGPD.
09Security
We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as access control, encryption in transit and database security rules. No system is 100% immune, but we work continuously to reduce risks.
10Your rights
The LGPD grants you a range of rights over your data. At any time, you may:
To exercise any of these rights, reach us by email at contato@livetu.app.
11Children and teens
Livetu is intended for people aged 16 or older. We do not intentionally collect data from minors without the specific, prominent consent of at least one parent or legal guardian, as required by the LGPD. If we identify such improper collection, we will remove the data.
12Data protection officer
Our data protection officer (DPO) is Pedro Girotto, whom you can contact by email at contato@livetu.app for any matter related to your personal data.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or in legislation. When a change is significant, we will notify you. The date at the top indicates the current version.
